Posto isto, gostei do livro, embora não me pareça que esta opinião possa ser partilhada por qualquer um. Surpreendeu-me, em particular, a sintonia de posições entre o Hinduísmo e o Budismo.

What is the greatest virtue in the world? Abstention from harming
any creature is the greatest virtue.
What religion bears fruits? The religion of the three Vedas is always fruitful.
What is it which if controlled, never leads to misery? The mind if controlled never leads to misery.
Whom does friendship never break? Friendship with the righteous never breaks.
What is that, by renouncing, makes a man dear to others? Giving up pride makes one dear.
What is it, if renounced, leads to wealth? Desire, if renounced, makes one wealthy.
